I’m a long-time avid reader of the “tips & downloads for getting things done” website Lifehacker but I find that a large portion of the features on the website cover proprietary operating systems (Windows, Mac OS) and proprietary devices (such as the iPhone). The GNU/Linux coverage they give is usually well presented and easy for anyone to understand but not up to par with the massive offerings for GNU/Linux users. The majority of GNU/Linux applications featured are cross platform applications – not GNU/Linux specific ones as with other operating systems.
This leaves me wondering as to whether there is something like Lifehacker out there geared specifically at GNU/Linux users. I’ve seen a few GNU/Linux market websites but they don’t have the finesse that Lifehacker has. Can anyone tell me if I’m missing anything significant out there?

In my feed reader, I’ve got a few that you may find interesting: http://tombuntu.com/, http://ubuntu-unleashed.blogspot.com/ and http://thedailyubuntu.blogspot.com/
None are as polished as Lifehacker, but they do seem get featured on there occasionally!
Sheepeatingtaz, I appreciate your reply but unfortunately the only one of those three you posted that is active is Tombuntu. Even then it sometimes goes weeks without being updated so it’s not really what I’m looking for.
i use the Tombuntu site too, and as you say can go weeks without being updated, another you may want to look at is
